Winter doesn’t have to mean that residents have to stay indoors.  It means that the Arena is busy everyday with public skating, power skating, figure skating and hockey for all ages.

Built in 1952 and attached to the Centennial Hall, the arena is operated and maintained by the Spirit River and District Agricultural Society.  The Ag Society has plans to expand and upgrade this facility into a new, larger, economical and modern complex. The Arena is located at 4309 49 Street .

Skating Times

• Mondays: Shinny 3:30 – 5:15pm
• Tuesdays: Public Skating 3:30 – 5:00pm
• Wednesdays: Shinny 3:30 – 5:00 pm
• Thursdays: Shinny 3:30 – 5:00pm
• Sunday: Public Skating 5:45 – 7:15pm
