SEASONAL CONTRACT EMPLOYMENT WITH TOWN OF SPIRIT RIVER

The Town of Spirit River is now accepting proposals for Chepi Sepe Campground supervision and maintenance.

Duties include collection of fees from campers; janitorial services throughout park and buildings; general supervision of the use of the campground; and managing tourist information booth. The applicant will need to have consideration for customer service, tourism, capacity building, and infrastructure management. The Town’s public works department will be available to help with vegetation control at the facility and offer some additional maintenance support. This part-time responsibility, which does involve some evening and weekend duties, may be of interest to a retired person (or couple), or someone looking to supplement their income.

Written proposals should clearly state the amount that the applicant wishes to be paid for undertaking these responsibilities. The campground operates from May to October. The deadline to submit written proposals is Friday, April 25 at 4:30 p.m. The lowest or any proposal may not necessarily be accepted. Experience will be considered.
